I bought this column/plant stand thingy a few years ago at a thrift store for about $0.50. I've never really had a good use for it, so when I needed a new small side table, this little guy fell into the line of fire.
Here is the column thing hanging out in our old house, not really serving a purpose.I epoxied a cheap pre-cut wooden round from Lowes to the top and spray painted the whole thing white (because that's the color I had on hand).
I might go back with a punchier color later. But I like the white for now. Easy and very cheap is my favorite kind of project.

We are currently in the process of buying a home and it realllllly needs a new coat of paint and I love the two colors you have. I see that the color in the hallway is a tan-ish color, and the other looks a little blue. Do you mind sharing what colors they are?
