Reader DIY: Faux Snakeskin Console Table

Emily submitted this genius DIY recently that I just can't get out of my mind.

She wrapped a cheapie plastic shelving unit with quilting weight cotton fabric and covered the whole thing with mod podge. I love the snakeskin pattern she used! It looks amazing with the other colors and patterns in her space.

Check out her tutorial HERE.

If you have a project you'd love to see on LGN, email me.

Have a great weekend!! xx

I've been obsessed with that table, and doing something similar in my house. I can't find a fabric like that anywhere...I was hoping you had the magic connection! ;)

Love Emily and her amazing snakeskin-covered shelf! She outdid herself on this one. And can we just talk about her amazing styling??

Big thanks for posting my project Jenny! I hope your readers love it. :) Also, to answer the question about the pillow, it's a Kelly Wearstler fabric called Bengal Bazaar. Etsy is a good place to find it. Also, I dug around and found a few more snakeskin fabrics and included them in my original post. Hope that helps!

Introducing fashionable coffee, sofa and end tables to your living room opens up many new decorating possibilities. Not only are console tables good for fashion, but they are ideal storage solutions as well.
