I'm in the market for a new desk chair. I'm considering upholstering a vintage craigslist find in a fun fabric, a la Ames Ingham. She reupholstered an Eames Management chair (which would be a dream come true for me to find on CL)...
Craigers is the way to go, I am thinking of doing the same, but I need a matching pair...well I don't NEED them, but you know. I love that wallpaper btw, suweet.
I love this photo and her portfolio is awesome. I haven't heard of her before....I want to see more! And, I love the idea of upholstering an office chair....now, as always, you have me thinking.....
If you could find one on CL that would be awesome. I don't know how much you want to spend but there is a cheaper version here: http://www.lexingtonmodern.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=144
I just passed one up at a local used office furniture place here in Dallas, TX
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this wonderful woman before - I'm now scouring her site. Love her - thanks. And Good luck finding your chair!

ReplyDeleteI'm dying for an Eames management chair. Affordability doesn't seem to exist where this chair is concerned.
I have never heard of her before either - her portfolio is stunning and her store must be a dream. Happy hunting for your chair!
