I saw this project in the Feb/Mar 2010 issue of Ready Made magazine (online here) and really wanted to try it myself.
Thanks goodness the adorable Nicole from Oh Me Oh My tried the project first and definitely affirmed that this one's a winner. Check out the DIY bubble chandie in her gorgeous black (!!) powder bath:
Check another FABULOUS bubble chandelier DIY project over at FrouFrouFashionista blog. They did it for their Faire FrouFrou boutique and posted a DIY guide on their blog. Its fantastic!
Wow - love it!! I once saw a chandelier made w/full Compari bottles (looked cooler than it sounds). Wondering if these instructions might be adapted to that too. Off to check out the article now - thanks for the info.
I've been lusting after this chandelier project for forever. Glad to see someone else who's done it. Looks great in her powder room. The Faire FrouFrou boutique one was great, too. I think it's the original one I fell in love with.
That link has a better graphic so you can understand the instructions more easily. I was looking for how to DIY a pendant light (with the box in the ceiling) when I found it.
Oh my goodness, I think I have just died and gone to heaven! I have loved this chandelier for SO long and have wanted to try and recreate it but was a little leary. . . Hers turned out gorgeous!
Absolutely loved it when I saw it on Nicole’s bathroom, so adorable!
