Oh, thank goodness it's Friday. It's been one of those weeks. Perpetually behind and completely exhausted. I'm ready for a day or two of sleeping in and eating out! Who's with me?
Dec 2009 House and Garden
P.S. My secret wish is to have a weekend/country home some day. And in my dreams it looks just like this house. Serene, but still fun and colorful. I feel better just looking at this photo.
I am so ready for the weekend! My best friend from high school grew up in a home that looks alot like this. The cozy, bright, atmosphere instantly makes you feel at home.
Taka me there please.... I am so sleepy, last night I went to bed about 2:00 o'clock. and now I can sleep momently at the office:(And of course like this home is ideal for spent weekend..
tell me about it..thank God it is finally friday..moreover my husband is returning from 3-week adventure trip to the grand canyon tomorrow..he can take over the parenting role for the next few days!! have a restful weekend, jenny..i would love you to visit my daughter's room on my blog when you have a moment! xx meenal
My husband and I talk about our someday weekend home all the time :) We call it "The Farm". It is going to be an old white farmhouse in the middle of nowhere with a spacious kitchen and a cozy room with a fireplace. And lots of land. And an in-ground pool for summer parties. A girl can dream, right?
Something tells me one of these days you'll be sharing the work you are doing on that country house! Would be fabulous while living in the city. Happy Mother's Day!
I don't know if we were supposed to hear "I want to go to there" in Liz Lemmon's stilted delivery, but I did. Love that image! So pretty, and looks like the perfect easy care laid back weekend place. Thanks for sharing.
I second that motion! And I'm on board for the country weekend home...*sigh* now if we could just get the everyday house for now...(c: Happy Mother's Day! You should definitely milk it for all it's worth!
Hi Jenny! I love your blog! Have you seen this chiang mai dragon project?? http://gorgeousshinythings.blogspot.com/2011/05/paint-is-dry.html I came across it in blogosphere :) and thought of you! I still love this print and have seen it used in all kinds of projects. But I've never seen it supersized and painted on a wall. LOVE IT!
Oh I know the feeling - I could actually do the year round thing in a place such as that at this point in the game. One of my all-time favorite Tina Fey quotes, btw.
