Thanks for the day off, friends! See you tomorrow. xoxo
PS This AMAZING room was designed by one of my design heros, Celerie Kemble. Did you know she is a curator on Dering Hall? Such amazing inspiration!
PPS The yellow Brunschwig chair fabric is on my all-stars list. Isn't it gorgeous? Also, I want to take a closer look at the legs on those chairs. Stain? Paint? Faux malachite like here below? (another favorite room from Kemble Interiors)
That fabric is gorgeous! Do you know what it is called?
ReplyDeleteGet well soon to your household !
ReplyDeleteLove Celerie Kimble everything! Take good care of yourself...

You could DIY and faux malachite like I did on my chairs. It was actually kinda fun. Weird I know. But it looks great in person as long as you do it right and take your time.
ReplyDeleteHope your girls feel better soon.

I know exactly how you feel having had that nasty bug pay us a visit over Christmas - I do hope everyone is feeling better and will have a peaceful night's sleep. FYI, we loved working with Celerie on her Kips Bay room - the fiddle leaf fig trees are ours and (shhh!) faux! She is one very talented lady! Cheers, Cynthia

I hope your girls feel better soon! I love books in the living room. makes it really cozy. I love them in the dining room too.
ReplyDeleteOne of the posters (Bri) mentioned doing faux malachite on her chairs. I have always loved malachite, so if anyone can offer suggestions on how to do this, I would be so thankful! Not just chairs--I'd like to know how to imitate malachite on other things as well.

oh no! so sorry to hear your girls are sick. Stomach flu is the worst. wash, wash, wash your hands to keep momma from getting it-cuz if momma gets it-the whole house falls apart. Take care girl!
ReplyDeleteHope you all feel better! It seems everyone either has the sinus bug or the tummy bug! I really need to find an option to put in my fireplace..it is too tempting for baby.
ReplyDeleteYikes -- stomach bugs are no bueno!! Hope everybody has a restful day and is back to normal tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLove those yellow zebra print chairs! We just featured a pink and grey version of that fabric that we're in love with on our facebook page!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the love as always J! Feet are blue high gloss paint. I had nothing to do with this project, but its one of my faves! Few shots from the B&W book are in this house. B&W pineapple wallpaper with red lacquer door for example.
ReplyDeleteThe faux malachite chair is SO cool.
