And a little tip if you get a flower arrangement - don't overwater your blooms! Two or three fingers of fresh water in a vase is just enough. If you change that water every other day, your flowers will last twice as long. These peonies are more than a week old!
Also, the adorable Summer Bellessa and Brooke White from the Girls With Glasses Show asked me to participate in their Mother's Day video. I had a funny voice from a cold and the background noise is bad (why did we film this on the roof again?), but we still had fun :)
Have a great weekend, especially you hard-working mamas! xoxo
And there you go showing off that lovely dresser again ;) Happy Mother's Day and thanks for the fresh flower watering tip. I love peonies and these are gorgeous! Have a lovely weekend too!

ReplyDeleteDo you have a source for the drawer pulls on your dresser in the photo above? I know you said they were from ebay but wasn't sure if you could pass along search terms or the seller that you got them from. Thanks!
You are the cutest! Loved the video, Happy Mothers Day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tip for flowers! I love the vase you put your peonies in, it showcases them perfectly!

i love your tip about being completely present, even for a short time each day. so sweet. i read that if kids have you on the floor with them, even for just 15 minutes a day, it can help with all sorts of behavior problems, etc. so sweet.
ReplyDeletePriceless flower tip. That video is really great!!
ReplyDeleteHappy mothers day!!

Really enjoyed watching your video! It's beautiful. I have 3 little boys, 5 and under and I loved the point you made. I make sure I sit down with each of them at some point throughout the day and give my absolute undivided attention. I ask them questions about their day and get them talking about things that are important to them- their answers are priceless and it's definitely the favourite part of my day! Thanks for reminding me how special it is.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
May i ask what color that dresser is? i'm thinking of stealing the color--if you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteHi! I have nominated your blog for an award. Check out my blog for more details!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, it's so inspiring. Do you remember where your dresser's drawer pulls are from?
ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers Day & thanks for the tips ...
ReplyDeleteWould you mind sharing the paint color of the dresser?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the flower watering tip! I'm going to go rescue my peonies from their four-day-old water right now! :) xo
