still have a couple yards left of this awesome vintage Schumacher. The dark color background is a deep plum. yummy.
2. Speaking of fabrics, I love this horizontal striped black and white slubby linen available from Calico Corners. For a subtler approach to my curtains. Price is $36.99/yd.3. Also, this upholstery grade gray and creamy white ikat is phenomenal. I don't know who makes it. There's a random roll at one of my fabric haunts. Let me know if you want me to pick you up some. Price is $22/yard.
4. Does anyone know anything about this china? It think it's pretty.
5. Paloma's kitchen round up was awesome. I think I gasped when I saw this one for the first time. Ohmygoodness. That island.

6. My latest household product obsession: Mrs. Meyers dryer sheets in Baby Blossom scent. The smell is sooooo good that I actually like doing laundry now... most days.
7. Next, I think this stool at Home Goods would be genius reupholstered in black or charcoal linen. The legs are my favorite part.
8. In fact, they sort of remind me of these awesome pepper mills from IKEA.
9. And finally, a little family update: Life is good, my friends. As much as I love all of you, nothing makes me happier than being a mom to these lovely little lassies.
Grace is my partner in decorating crime and she also loves preschool. Claire turned three on the 16th and cries every day when I drop off Grace at school.
Evie turned three months old yesterday. And you better believe she weighs 17 pounds.
She totally would have polished off Claire's birthday cake if she wasn't stuck in the Bumbo.
That's all. peace out.
I cannot decide what I like the most about you - your fabric attraction or those little lassies. Looks like it is all sugar and spice in your world. Thanks for the baby blossom dryer sheets, I know my 17 year old sons will appreciate that one.

what a beautiful photo of your children!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice post of your thoughts today. The picture of your kids looks like it's from a catalog. The colors in your china pieces are beautiful. Thanks for the fabrics, I am eagerly waiting for the arrival, it's going to be like Christmas in March, no pressue j/k.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girl! My son turns 3 on the 15 and your babes almost weights as much as my babes who turned 1 yesterday; I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet; cannot believe that baby is already 3 months old!
ReplyDeletewhat lovely photos. your last comment made me laugh out loud!
ReplyDeleteEmily
Since I'm a new follower, I had no idea you had such a new baby - wow! I'm so impressed by how much you do with three kids including a three month old. Who is totally adorable - as are her big sisters! Darling! My second is due in three weeks and I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLove all your finds, especially those Ikea pepper mills! They're hot!
The girls are BEAUTIFUL! You create such beautiful things, and those three are the very most gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteMiss you and them!!
Your girls are just too cute and I love how big Evie is. My son was way big too :-)
ReplyDeleteDon't know about the china, but it is really pretty - did you buy the teacup? As for the little stool, I love the blue and green thats on it now, LOL... I'm weird like that - but I would definitely have to paint the legs... and your girls are just precious!!

ReplyDeleteOops! Sorry. I deleted my comment(above) by accident. Your daughters are just adorable! Claire and my son have the same birthday. He cries every time I drop HIM off at school.
ReplyDeleteI like the china and the gray ikat fabric!
I love all the obvious love between your girls, so sweet and that ikat fabric is killer, great finds!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Thanks for putting up that picture of the girls! I cannot get enough. Grace and Claire are so grown up and little Evie is adorable. Mollie is on her way to being a chunker just like her friend. Love it! And also, I want to see you guys. But how? And when? I must figure this out soon.
ReplyDeleteHow do you find the time?! My three year old is learning quite a bit about treasure hunting, but the baby-- aged just 1-- is not happy with it. Life looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour little girls are so cute! What a beautiful family you have, & a beautiful home to go along with it!
ReplyDeleteAdorable babies!
ReplyDelete:) Susan
Those little girls are the cutest little things ever!
ReplyDeleteThe ikat fabric is gorgeous! I have actually had my eye out for some ikat fabric for a chair I'm reupholstering. Your find looks exactly like this fabric that Pottery Barn sells for $50/yd (which I just cannot afford). Did the store have it any other colors? I would love it in the yellow Pottery Barn has, or even a rusty orange. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Shannon. Just the gray was available. I love that yellow from PB too! :)
ReplyDeleteLuv the fabrics and yes, you are right, I picked up some of those sheets the other day too. The smell is taking me back in time!
ReplyDeleteL.
It sounds like Grace is a really sweet big sister! The little one is all sorts of adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi! I rarely leave comments and I never say *laugh out loud* but your little Evie is so cute and that last photo definitely made me laugh out loud!!! also, do you know about replacements.com?? you can find out a little about your china and also see if there are any other pieces available.
ReplyDeleteps - I love your blog and check it obsessively - I am working on a big girl room for my two girlies and your girls' room is my perfect inspiration! Thanks so much!
I want that ikat fabric! I have been looking all over freaking Nashville trying to find some cool gray print for my bedroom curtains.
ReplyDeleteI need to figure out how much I need though. Don't go anywhere! :)
Great post! On the Ikat fabric - I think it could be beautiful for my living room - but do you have any thoughts on perhaps incorporating some of the expensive "love it" fabric with some other cheapie white fabric for large drapery needs? Maybe adding it to the bottom 1/3 of a white IKEA panel and tying it in with some trim somehow??
ReplyDeleteI need that stool! Was that a recent home goods find? ... I hope they have one at my home goods!
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Word. Your girls are stunning. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteThose baby apple cheeks!!! I think I just died from the cute! Your girls are gorgeous. I swear you can tell from that photo how much they love each other, so sweet!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell you that you've been such an inspiration to me to finally get my projects going, not to mention finally buying myself a real sewing machine! Your girls are adorable; LOVE fat babies, mine were too. Obviously everything you do is beautiful ;)
ReplyDeleteloved this post and just added you to my "on the daily" list of favorite blogs. your family is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh my. Evie's pic made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out, love! Glad you enjoyed the kitchens post.
ReplyDeleteThat little stool is great. You always find the best things!
Your daughters are precious! And that little Evie... I just want to squeeze her little cheeks! xoxo
The picture of Evie staring down the cake is so awesome! She's going to look back at that one day and laugh... So adorable!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the fabric. how do you think it would be for curtains and how far will you ship?
ReplyDeletethanks,
sdd
Oh my goodness, my grandmother has wingback chairs covered in that first fabric in her formal living room - no joke!
ReplyDeleteAlso your girls are adorable. I have a 3 yr old and 4 month old - neither of them is chubby enough in my opinion. My first weighed 17 lbs at one year. I would die to have baby with rolls!
ok seriously evie is the sweetest little luv bug on the planet! those cheeks are edible!!!!i want to squeeze her thru the computer!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are TOO cute!! I love the picture of Grace and Claire loving on Evie. And Evie with the cake. Too funny. She's a chunk of love!
ReplyDeleteLovedddd the kitchen round up! I think I gasped on every one!
Love the gray/cream ikat.
LOVE that Homegoods stool (with new fabric)! I'm going to have to see if my Nashville Homegoods has one!
noodleandboof.blogspot.com
perfection on the porch. love that sweet shot and that chubby baby. love that kitchen island too. must file that away. you're awesome, jenny!
ReplyDeleteLoved the kitchens, but had to laugh at your comment about Evie being stuck in the Bumbo...my son was a month or two little older before he chubbed up, but we used to giggle because his adorable chubby thighs usually had to be pried from the bumbo! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh Goodness! Now that my baby has started walking, I really miss the rolls and rolls of baby fat!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and I just about died with that adorable picture of your girls! I'm not sure if anyone else answered this question but I work at Calico Corners and we carry that cream Ikat - it looks like the same fabric. So maybe check out our website for it??
ReplyDeleteso is it wrong to sing "you're the one for me fattie."? to your baby? Mikah eats like a little piggie and I want to sing that to her. In the most endearing way of course.
ReplyDeleteLove this whole post. I was so impressed with how deftly you chronicle your ramblings, how out and about you are, and how much you get done! Like your parent's master. You know you were my initial blog inspiration! And THEN to learn you have three babies! (mine are 5,10,12--so yours seem like babies still). I have to tell you, your girls will grow up loving design. My 10-year old girl loved the post with all the Home Goods, TJMaxx and Home Depot bags stuffed in the trunk (all our haunts). She's my master stager-on-a-budget. Enjoy those adorable girls!
ReplyDeleteI must try the baby blossom dryer sheets. I have been using the Mrs. Meyers in rose geranium -- it does make laundry a pleasure.
ReplyDeleteThe girls are darling!
About the china identification...I don't know that one in particular, but in the past I've had good luck identifying patterns by going to Replacements, Ltd. The link is http://www.replacements.com.
ReplyDeletelovely post. thanks so much for the treat of meeting your little ones. beautiful. and I do think I will hit my local Homegoods to search for that bench...thanks again!
ReplyDeletethose dryer sheets sound great -- i want it just for the packaging. i love the smell of fresh laundry too :]
ReplyDeleteAdorable - I absolutely love seeing little ones in those chairs!
ReplyDeleteYour taste is gorgeous and your girls are too.
ReplyDeletejbhat
Jenny, I didn't know if you know this BUT... if you do use the store locator on the Calico Corners website, once you find your location there is a little link above the location for a $20 coupon! AWESOMENESS!!!!
ReplyDeleteLGN,
ReplyDeleteLove your style and blog, but it's those sweet sweet little ladies of yours that are inspiring me to post my first comment :)
Your husband and ladies are so lucky and any day you need to take time w/ them instead of LGN I'll totally understand!
Thanks for the daily inspiration!
I just got a sewing machine the other day, so all your posts are giving me ideas! Your girls are absolutely adorable, especially Evie. Those cheeks, that expression, those chubby little hands! If you're ever in Seattle and need a babysitter, I'll volunteer!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds - I love new discoveries and your girls are just so sweet. Your last photo had me laugh out loud. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteRoeshel
I actually really want to buy some of that ikat. I'm @ hannarsteadman@gmail.com if your serious!
ReplyDeleteAnd by the way your girls are so darling!
cute, cute, cute
ReplyDeleteSuch cute girls! You are a blessed lady! One thing I know about China... Look for pieces stamped "Made in Occupied Japan". This refers to the period when WWII ended to about 1952. Some of these pieces can be pretty valuable! But regardless of value, if you like it--get it!
ReplyDeleteI became a stalker of your blog recently - and am trying to get caught up on your old posts... your girls are precious!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to have found you! The fabrics really inspire me to get something going in my breakfast nook. And I love everything about that little stool from HomeGoods - legs and fabric. Which store do you shop?
ReplyDeleteLove those lassies! They're adorable.
I have to leave a comment on these three adorable baby girls. Oh my goodness. Too cute for words and little one with those cheeks Oh how I wish I could hold her. My babies had those cheeks. So I know how soft and kissable they can be. I will check out the dryer sheets. I use cling free in powder fresh but they are almost impossible to find anymore. Have a wonderful weekend!! Kathysue
ReplyDeletecute kids...and the baby..WOW! She is to cute. I love cubby babies. Some women get offended by that, but sorry...I love my babies with some meat to kiss on. Both of mine were over 8 pounds and I am only
ReplyDelete5'1
Well Evie and Maddie could share clothes if we lived closer. I love squishy babies.
ReplyDeleteWow Jenny your girls are so gorgeous!! I can't believe how big G looks, and that hair?! I am dying over E and her chubbiness...chubby babies are the best and she wears it well. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That first print you posted haunted me s much--it's what my grandmother's couch is upholstered with. I love it so much!
ReplyDeleteAdorable pix of your girls Jenny....

I covered a Duncan Phyfe sofa in that vintage Schumacher fabric about thirty years ago. ( It wasn't
ReplyDeletevintage then). It was spectacular, and I hated to see it go when I went for a more traditional Federal look....Thanks for the memories!
