All I want for Christmas...

...is for this vacation to never end. It's been the perfect mix of adventurous and relaxing.

I also wouldn't turn down a few more design books to add to my library. I tried to be really thoughtful while putting together a list of these favorites to share with you guys (you know, in case you need some really last minute gift ideas), but I feel like I'm missing some special ones. Do you have any very favorite design books you'd love to get or give?

Check out my list HERE.

  7. My wish list this year includes "In the Pink" and "Regency Redux". I've also been curious about "The Perfectly Imperfect Home". Your pick of "The Way Home" looks amazing, I'll be checking that one out, thanks!

  10. Love the pictures of you and your girls - it looks like you are having a great time! I would add any book by Michael Smith (it helps that our flowers are in so many of his interiors!). Have a wonderful (warm) Christmas, Cynthia

  15. Ah, the Byodo-In Temple! It was one of our stops on the "Lost" tour we did while visiting Oahu a few years ago. The temple was used to portray Sun's father's house. (Which is only meaningful if you watched the show, of course.) Would love to be back on Oahu again ... I understand why you don't want your vacation to end!

By the way, upholstering a tufted headboard right now. My staple gun is the worst ever, so I just popped on your blog to search whether you have a favorite staple gun. :)

LeahDuncan has a black print with floral on it as well as beautiful multicolored tea towels I think can be framed..just wanted to share. I always read your blog but hardly ever comment since I'm usually on my "vintage" cell phone :) Enjoy Hawaii..puliki honi honi xoxo!
