HGTV Home Fabrics at Joanns

It seems rare to find on-trend and exciting fabric patterns at regular fabric stores like Joanns. Trellis patterns don't really do it for me any more, but I do like sort of more unique geometric patterns a lot. This one from the HGTV Home fabric line at Joann's stopped me in my tracks. The colors are so great and the pattern looks so high-end. Almost like something David Hicks would have designed.

The pattern also came in a blue/charcoal combo:

The whole line from HGTV Home was pretty great. And happily, most of the patterns were heavy enough to use for upholstery.

I liked the pattern within a pattern here on the chevron. It helps class it up I think.

I loved this gray and cream fabric below. I would totally put this on a pair of chairs or even a sofa.

  1. I happened upon them this weekend while at Joann's looking for pom pom trim. They had the black white and green geometric in the store and it was gorgeous! Lots of patterns to mix with it, too! Glad finally someone is offering up the emerald greens!

  5. Plus since you took a trip to AZ, I just know we are going to get a post on all of your finds from Home Fabrics. :) Every time I go in the one here, I hope it is busy so they will stay open. What would I do if it closed?! xoxo

  11. I stopped at Jo Ann's the other day and was so excited to see this line. I also saw a bench at HomeGoods upholstered in the first one you show (the green, black and white). I have nowhere to put it but was so tempted!!

  14. K I totally saw those at Joanns too, and had that reaction with that green geometric. AMAZING. And ironically the following week, I was at Home Goods and spotted an upholstered bench with that exact fabric on it. I bought it. BAM.

  16. I just made some roman shades for my kitchen out of the first fabric, but in lime and turquoise. I love it, brings such a fun punch to my little white rental space.

  17. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm usually end up disappointed by the lack of choice in Vancouver fabric stores. Nice to see a change!

  18. HGTV is sorta killing it lately, I really love their magazine, love all this fabric and I recently did a post on the fact that HGTV has their own line of flowers sold at local nurseries and they are seriously beautiful!!

  19. I also spied a couple of benches (great for the end of the bed) in this fabric at Homegoods. I love it. Hadn't seen the charcoal version. Now I'm thinking that might look fab in my study as roman shades - btw, did your roman shade DIY twice now and on to the third!
