To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I'd love to hear what projects you'd fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I'm working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

  189. Thanks for the contest - I would probably buy a few light fixtures and maybe my husband and I would try to install some wainscotting in our powder room.

  190. We're moving back into our wonderful old house in two months after being displaced for my husband's work for the past two years. I'm already "looking" at it with new eyes and mentally repainting every room in the house. I also might grow a pair and wallpaper the entryway or dining room. ;)

  192. Two years ago today my husband and I bought are first home-- If I won the $500 from Home Depot I'd celebrate by tackling the kitchen desk I've been igorning. I figured I had to live with it until we can do the full kitchen re-do in other two years, but your recent desk makeover inspired me!

  193. I would buy so much paint... and then I would buy so much wood... and remake my porch stairs and repaint them! I'd also get one of those fancy watering hose holders so I no longer have a hose draped all over my backyard...

  194. The giftcard would go to a new fridge for our new house!

  195. Some of that dough would definitely go toward paint. We still haven't painted my daughter's "big girl" room although she's been sleeping in it for months, and guests have commented on the paint chips up on the walls in the living room. Embarrassing.

  196. I would update a lot of things throughout our house, new paint in the bedrooms, new toilet seats, updated light fixtures, etc.
