First thought..."She's ridiculous!" That's meant in the nicest, most complimentary way, of course. I honestly think you're one of the most talent human beings alive. Thank you for always and continually inspiring, Jenny!

Props on the article! Love both the writing and the subject matter! It looks ten times as awesome as the original! So posh and luxurious. You are seriously the queen of DIY, and Domino people made a jackpot of a decision when they asked you to be one of their collaborating bloggers!
I'm having a freakout over the painted grasscloth wallpaper - GENIUS! It makes a world of difference, and the whole thing looks so much more polished!
Also - I'm spying all those little gold dowels from your recent instagram. You realize the mirror they are plugging as being similar to your DIY costs $838!?!?! Way to blow our minds Lady.
These look so luxe and beautiful! I'm thinking of doing these in my kid's basement area for toy storage and with a desk in between two of the units. Have you used the Pax system before (I feel like I've seen that you have)? Just wondering how they might hold up to kids slamming the doors and drawers along with throwing toys in them.
You are so talented, I am always impressed by your creativity. I have a comment though, being form Europe I honestly have the impression that Americans are obsessed with grey (in all its shades). Why is it? There are millions of other tones, colors, shades, why do you always end up with gray? That said, your transformation is amazing and I check your blog regularly for inspiration (as a matter of fact I just repainted the door of my laundry a bright orange following your DIY tutorial on the "go bananas" door you repainted long ago... thanks). Iaia.

Brilliant, Jenny! This may be my favorite of your DIYs yet. And I completely recognize the instinct to just say no to Ikea in a new home - I just went through that myself (and failed - ha!). Well done, you! xo
I love a good Pax makeover. The dentil trim is a nice touch. Congrats on the article!
BTW, not sure if they sell them in the US, but Ikea in Canada sells these plugs for those unsightly shelf holes: http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/80226316/#/00226315
Woot woot! Go Jenny, Go! SO exciting to see the article - it definitely has a different feel versus a blog post, but that was the best part and I loved it! I feel like you deserve to buy yourself something fantastic in celebration. Did someone say Loeffler Randall? Don't mind if you do. :-)
Jenny, you've done it again. Two questions: I love that mirror! Where is it from? Do you just punch the shelf holder tab clasp things through the wallpaper, cut holes in the paper for them, or something else? How do you find them if you've papered over them?
Wow, that's impressive! Congrats on your article!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on domino mag's instagram. It looks great! Excellent job! I'm inspired to redo my closet! Love the mirror!
