Here's the last installment of inspiration photos for the week...
I love this pattern. And how amazing does it look as wallpaper, headboard AND a bedskirt?! And that giant mirror? Just right.
Elle Decor
Isn't great decorating all about nailing the little details? Wouldn't you be thrilled to get ready everyday in a bathroom with this set up??

The Swedish roots in my would love a mora clock, or just a beautiful antique clock like this one. Also, I'm a major sucker for black interior doors.
Debating between an orange tree and a fiddle leaf fig. Restoration Hardware outlet was having an AMAZING sale on their giant galvanized planters last weekend, I might swing by again this weekend to see if there are any left.

Black and white stripes are just perfection in my book.
These colors! and that wallpaper...
Isn't this chair fabric lovely? It sort of reminds me of a slate blue and navy dot print linen that I'm using to upholster an arm chair in.

Oh how I want these chairs to sit at the ends of my farmhouse table!

I always come back to this bedroom. It sums up the direction I want to go with our place. Lived in, comfortable, colorful but in a restrained way, and undecorated.

Another image that hits it right on the head. Yellow. Doors.
I hope you all have exciting adventures planned for this weekend! Evie and I are hitting the road tomorrow and heading to Philadelphia for a buying trip. Fingers crossed that I come back with some great vintage furniture and yards and yards of beautiful fabrics for me and my clients.

I love so many of these images. The first bedroom by Christine D'ornano is one of my absolute favourite rooms ever- her whole house is perfection in my book. I would love to know if that O&L wallpaper/fabric is still available anywhere. The black striped room with pink bed is amazing- that bed! I adore the Albert Hadley fireworks fabric- considering it in black for my main bathroom's wallpaper. I thought the fabric was only available in black or red- are those chairs red but the lighting makes them look lighter? hum...so pretty. The Peter Dunham room is totally my style as well and I adore that little sofa at the end of the bed. I have never seen the last shot before and those yellow doors- soooo gorgeous! Thanks for putting together such a great collection of beautiful rooms!!
ReplyDeleteIn case you stop here on the way, I saw some lovely pink striped silk fabric at a consignment store in Princeton the other day. The store is called Jane, and I think it was $90 for 18 yards. I almost bought it but have no idea what I'd do with it.
ReplyDeleteI love the Domino image of the chairs in front of the bookshelves and the yellow doors! Thanks for sharing the inspiration...
ReplyDeleteI love black doors too! Your posts have been so great this week and I've added many of your photos in my favorites file! Happy shopping!!
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow doors and wallpaper/headboard fabric! Good photo scouting this week - looking forward to seeing what else you're working on!
ReplyDeleteEvery image is better than the one before it...great collection. Where in Philly are you heading?! I live in Philadelphia and have discovered some great hole-in-the-wall places with fantastic treasures!
ReplyDeleteI love that clock! I think a large clock in a foyer, or similar, is such a great look! So classic.
ReplyDeleteI loved this week of inspiration. For that matter, I love every day of your blog. Thanks for sharing! I can't get that fabric from those two chairs in the domino shot out of my mind. Any idea where it's from?
ReplyDeleteLovely images. You've featured some of my favorite shots!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your buying trip tomorrow. Totally jealous.I need to make it out there with you one day.
Kate,
I believe the fabric in the Domino shot is:called fireworks.
I blogged about it in the black/white colorway here: http://high-heelfootinthedoor.blogspot.com/2010/07/fireworks.html

ReplyDeletedoes anyone know what that Osbourne & Little print is called??? I NEED IT.
ReplyDeleteYes, really wanting to get my hands on that O&L fabric as well. Just got the West Elm diamond tufted headboard in otter and this would brighten it up really well. I might just have to finally solicit your services, Jenny. Now if the Mr. would only jump onboard...
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous...I am new to your blog & am so enjoying catching up! Thanks for that awesome tip on painting mirrors in one of your other posts...I always agonize over the taping & then missing spots. Your tip is going to be invaluable for future painting! :) Thanks and all the best.

I have those Lee Industry chairs printed out in my files for a farm table in my mom's house. She's more likely to get them before I do. I love the hall clock as well.
ReplyDeleteI love the first image and the one with the yellow doors. Delightful.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!
Great images. I love the yellow doors and the black doors. You're making me feel like painting!
ReplyDeleteGo with the orange trees..might remind you of the AZ sunshine. I just tried to buy some miniature Meyer lemon trees but was told I didn't have enough light..darn it!
ReplyDeleteyou inspire me! I painted a table today and would love for you to see it. http://lrennie.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that you are debating between a fiddleleaf fig and an orange tree. Have you considered a kumquat tree? I have one and LOVE it. The little fruits are such cute little pops of color and the tree holds them for a long time. They are good for indoors.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
