Jenny, I couldn't agree more! I recently updated a pair of parsons-style ottomans in the teal print from Premier Prints and love the results. Check out the before and after here: http://meetmeinphiladelphia.blogspot.com/2010/12/seeing-spots.html
I love the non- uniform dot size. Would this look good in another color? Love the brown and white and black and white but would it look cartoonish in blue and white? Just curious.
After looking at other posts - Ashley's ottomans are really cool - Things That Sparkle featured the Premier Print, too - The spots have got me now! ... what about that (heart-stopping!) green Overstock console in the same room- hhh!
This is the second time you've showed that photo and I am dying to know who it is in the photo. Is that Francois-Marie Banier, the guy who stole a billion from the L'oreal heirs? Do you have any other link for the image?
I bought the primier print for some chairs I made into ottomans and it's a lot better looking in person and the quality is great!Definitely a good buy!

Bri and Ashley!! Your little upholstered stools look AMAZING!! I'm so glad you shared! I'm considering the togo for my x benches and now I'm pretty much sold!
Nicole, I don't know who the inspiration photo is. The image was saved from Style Court though. If you look through her archives, I'm sure you'd be able to find it.
I really really want some of the B&F les touches- it's amazing. The togo is a fabulously chic option and so inexpensive- blows me away. Angela's chairs over at the Painted House were done in this and they look amazing!!
Last time I checked ...about a year ago...the Fils Les Touches had been discontinued.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, it was brought back but thought you should know.
I keep seeing lots of spots and dots! I would love some...

Aaaaah!!! I'm so glad you posted this. I've been stuck on fabric for our ottoman. Just ordered the Togo from Premier Prints. Done and DONE. Thanks!!

ReplyDeleteHmmm...not sure if I can jump aboard the "dots" bandwagon. I'd love to see it used in a more refined (less busy) space I think.
ReplyDeletei have been loving dots lately as well. thanks for the links!
ReplyDeletepremier prints may be my fave. love it.
ReplyDeleteI had a dress like this in 1989. With a huge black belt. (Jenny, Is it just me, or is the guy in the painting artistically missing his face?)

ReplyDeleteGreat post. I've been seeing it lately -so much fun and surprisingly chic. Little dalmatian instead of zebra?

ReplyDeletelook this look so much - the random placement and size make it a fun look!
ReplyDeleteLes Touches at B&F is still VERY active...
ReplyDeleteReally? I must be a total nerd and completely out of style. It's very Cruella Devil to me. But that's just me!:)
